I moved to New York for one year as an accredited journalist with the U.S. State Department and the UN. I work for magazines as well as People here in Cameroon, Africa or the International Radio Africa No. 1. Meanwhile, I created a communications company that will commence operations by the end of this year and a training firm called American management skills. Which firm is at the initiative of the Mayors’ Seminar held in New York from 29 to 30 April 2008. .

The seminar being held in New York theme for Municipalities and Development: Issues and challenges of partnerships and twinning arrangements between municipalities of the world and U.S. municipalities. This initiative is very different from those we have often seen so far in most francophone seminars inspired systems. The approach we propose is an approach to the U.S. and leaving very little room for big theories, speeches, and finally where the participant holds nothing back! After the seminar in New York, every mayor will be able to negotiate effectively its partnership with a city hall said in a win-win spirit.
